Well, the problems I see in the 8560w is that it's way too heavy (6.5 to 7lbs) and that's never a good thing for a college student. I'll be checking it daily! Thanks in advance!! Please help me via email or PM or just reply to this thread. I've been skimming this site for weeks and have just now signed up. I'd rather spend the cash on an accidental-protection warranty. The dreamcolor is awesome but I figure I can just hook my laptop up to a nice IPS monitor if I really need to sit down and do alot of detail-specific editing. Enough graphics memory to play Black Ops at 70+ fps Sandy bridge processor (or something comparable) I'll also want to play games fairly often. I'll be using this mostly for large document editing in Photoshop CS5 and HD video editing in Sony Vegas. However, the more I hear about people having problems I'm no so sure I want to throw $1,899 on a laptop that's going to cause me hell. They're powerful, have a good battery life, and are beautifully crafted. I'm a first year college student at a University here in the USA and I've really been looking forward to getting an HP Elitebook 8560w ever since I heard about them.
